The BELL Case Study store offers three types of cases:
Main cases – which may have various versions. Main cases are what the other two types (teaching notes and print permissions) of a case are based on. You can see if a case has other versions by looking at the Related Cases toward the bottom of the page, when viewing a case.
Teaching notes – Teaching notes are teaching guides for professors and instructors who are using a main case within their classroom, or other teaching arena. Teaching notes are only available for purchase by users who have been granted special privileges on the BELL Store to purchase teaching notes. When viewing a main case you can purchase a main case’s respective Teaching note where it says “Buy Teaching Note” by adding a quantity to the quantity field and clicking “add to cart” (you must be signed in to the site and already have been granted special privileges). Teaching notes are not meant for student purchase or use. To request special privileges to purchase Teaching notes, FOLLOW THIS LINK.
Print permissions – Print permissions are meant to be purchased when a professor or instructor needs to distribute a main case to their group of students. Print permissions cost $1.50. When viewing a main case you can purchase Print Permissions where it says “Buy Print Permissions” by adding a quantity to the quantity field and clicking “add to cart.” After successful purchase of your Print Permissions, you will receive an invoice via the email registered with the BELL Store with details about the Print Permissions copyright.
