The Latin America Business Environment Learning Leadership workshop "Academic/Business Alliances in the Formation of  Leaders for Sustainable Business" was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina (November 18-19, 2004).

The 2004 BELL Conference, Building a Sustainable City through Sustainable Enterprise, will be an opportunity for academic, business and community leadership to work alongside government and community organizations, in order to explore, develop and support enterprise models based on the tenets of sustainability.

On March 23, the State Environmental Protection Administration kicked off an annual contest among school and universities students nationwide. As the theme for this year's World Environment Day is the protection of fresh water and oceans, the contest will encourage students to put forward their views on water-related issues, either in the form of an essay or an invention.
