Sheri Willoughby, Senior Manager
Sheri comes to WRI after working with numerous organizations seeking to address global sustainability challenges such as poverty, disease, and environmental degradation through private enterprise and public-private partnerships. Most recently, Sheri developed health-related and income-generating initiatives for low-income consumers for Johnson & Johnson's Consumer Products Company as an independent consultant. Sheri has also conducted research on microfinance and natural resource conservation in Central America at INCAE University, fundraised for Asian tsunami relief efforts at WaterHealth International, and facilitated multi-stakeholder 5-year economic planning process for Orange County, North Carolina.

Sheri earned an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to business school, Sheri worked as an atmospheric chemist at ENSCO, Inc. in Melbourne, FL and as a management consultant at Accenture in San Francisco. Sheri also holds an MS in chemistry from University of California San Diego.

Amrita Wassan, BELL Intern

Amrita
Amrita joined the BELL/WRI team this summer to assist with the project administrative tasks and support for BELL and Beyond Grey Pinstripes.  She will also contribute to the marketing and communications activities of BELL by developing marketing material, and assisting in organizing the BELL conference.

Before coming to WRI, Amrita worked in community level education projects for urban slum dwellers in India. She graduated from Agnes Scott College with a BA in International Relations and Business/Economics.
